  3. placed a sphere with a fractal mapped round it inside the
  4. cube. This then shows through the black (transparent) bits
  5. of the cube.

  12.    The golden fruit bowl, with fractal fruit was just a
  13. simple sweep object with three mapped spheres stuck in it.
  14. The rear sphere had the picture mapped onto each polygon,
  15. giving a pretty weird effect! Careful positioning of the
  16. light source is necessary in a picture like this, but
  17. don't over do the number of lamps - its easy to get a good
  18. range of light and dark with only one source (as long as
  19. you boost the exposure to about 350).
